The one with all the books

"There is no happiness like that of being loved by your fellow-creatures, and feeling that your presence is an addition to their comfort."- Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

Do you have any avid readers in your life? I do, and I’ve been RAVING to her non-stop (sorry, not sorry) about this wedding. Sophie and Samara’s unique little literary touches were the stuff of a bookworm’s dream, and it was certainly the first time I’d seen cake flowers made from pages of Jane Eyre! Who knew?!

Sophie and Samara tied the knot at Woodhall Manor, a beautiful ivy-clad, exclusive-use venue. It was my first visit here and it really was gorgeous. Set in the countryside on the Suffolk coast the staff here, promise a “hidden little treasure of a manor for an event you will not forget” …and they

certainly didn’t disappoint.

As a female business owner, one of the things I loved most about this couple, is that they tried to book all female led suppliers. With the exception of Carl, the videographer (we made an exception for him!) it really was the epitome of “girls support girls”. So much of their day was personalised; I find some couples really do excel when it comes to having a day that captures their personalities, and Sophie and Samara were *absolutely* one of those couples. Handmade decor, a bespoke ceremony, beautiful readings…it was just such a lovely reflection of them as a couple. If we throw in Samara’s family having made the trip over from Canada and then making joint speeches (I’m not crying, you’re crying), a beautiful first dance, and an EPIC party: well, you have one amazing wedding on your hands!

So, to Sophie and Samara, thanks so much for choosing me! I absolutely LOVED being a part of your day and celebrating your love with you, and I’m wishing you so much happiness for the future.
