Beautiful May Day at Baddow Park House
Some weddings just have everything, and Roxy and Stuart's was absolutely one of those.
May at Baddow Park with the roses in full bloom is genuinely one of my favourite things to photograph all year, and this day delivered completely. Every corner of those grounds was just beautiful, and Roxy and Stuart made the most of every single bit of it.
Carl from SixEight was with me on the day capturing the film alongside the photos, and as always the two of us working together meant the day just flowed. We'd had a coffee with Roxy and Stuart beforehand to go through everything, and from that first meeting it was clear these two were going to be brilliant to work with. Relaxed, warm, completely ready to enjoy their day.
The ceremony was just gorgeous, Roxy walking down that aisle with the pergola draped in greenery above her, the sunshine pouring through, guests smiling in every direction. And afterwards those rose wall portraits in the grounds were some of my favourites I've taken at Baddow Park all year. That dip kiss in front of the house in the evening light is a particular favourite.
Tilly Brown provided the music and Go2 Entertainment kept the dancefloor going all evening. The whole day had such a brilliant energy from start to finish.

They somehow managed to make sure we spent plenty of time with our guests whilst also protecting precious moments for just the two of us together.
Another thing we absolutely loved was how efficiently everything was done. We had a lot of group shots to get through with large numbers of people, but Sophie organised everything so brilliantly that we were completely finished with formal photos in around 10 minutes. We never felt like we were standing around for ages taking pictures and instead got to fully enjoy the day with our guests.
Beyond their professionalism and talent, they brought such a wholesome, warm and positive energy to the day. We felt completely comfortable being ourselves around them and that made such a huge difference.
And then somehow, incredibly, we woke up the very next morning not only as husband and wife, but already with a beautiful selection of preview photos from Sophie and an amazing highlight video reel from Carl. All delivered in less than 24 hours. We honestly couldn't believe it and it was the perfect way to relive the day before we'd even gotten out of bed.
The output from both of them was absolutely perfect. Romantic and classy whilst still full of humour, personality and good vibes, a genuine reflection of how the day felt to us and everyone there.
