Winter wedding at Baddow Park House
Some couples just know exactly what they want, and Louise and Stuart absolutely did. Simple, elegant, completely them.
White roses everywhere, a classic black tuxedo, a pearl-edged veil and a beaded gown that was just beautiful. No fuss, no overcomplication, just really good taste carried through every single detail of the day.
But honestly, the thing that made this wedding so special was the family at the heart of it. Louise and Stuart's two young sons were there for the whole day, and you could feel it in the atmosphere from start to finish. It wasn't just a wedding, it was a family coming together, and that made everything about it feel really warm and genuinely joyful.
Baddow Park in February could have gone either way weather-wise, and it did throw a bit of rain at us during portraits, but that pearl veil billowing in the grey light gave us one of my favourite shots of the whole day. Sometimes the weather just works in your favour without you even planning it.
The evening ended with a champagne tower, which I always love to photograph, and by that point the whole day had just been fun and relaxed from start to finish. Exactly the kind of energy that makes a wedding feel really easy to be part of.
