A personal note from me

Working a wedding day is not like any other job - and rightly so.
I never get that Sunday night dread. I never clock-watch. I never have to remind myself why I'm there. I get to spend the most joyful, love-filled days with the happiest group of people imaginable, doing something I genuinely love. I am so, so lucky and I never forget it.
But here's something I've learned over years of doing this: the best wedding days aren't just made by the couple and their guests. They're made by everyone in the room. When I walk into a venue and start seeing familiar faces — the florist setting up in the corner, the band doing their sound check, the coordinator gliding around making everything look effortless — and I know every single one of them, and I know they all care just as much as I do? That feeling is indescribable. We haven't even started yet and I already know it's going to be a great day.
Guests notice it too. I've lost count of the number of times someone has pulled me aside during a reception and said "everyone working today just seems like they're having the best time." And they are. Because when you bring together a team of people who all love what they do, all want the same thing for you, and all bring that same joyful energy to the day, it stops feeling like a workforce and starts feeling like a celebration that everyone gets to be part of.
That's what this page is about. These aren't just suppliers I admire from a distance. They're the faces I'm always happy to see. The people who make my job even better just by being in the room. Book a mix of people who share that same approach, that same goal, that same genuine love for what they do and I promise you'll feel the difference.

Videographers
Arguably the most important combination you'll make alongside booking your photographer. If you've chosen me because you love how relaxed, hands-off and fast I am, but then book a videographer who needs more posing, more time and has a completely different approach, you lose all the benefit of why you booked me in the first place. The videographers on this list work just like I do: calm, efficient and completely couple-focused.

OTHERS
Content creators
A sometimes contentious topic in the wedding world and I'll be honest, I've had a mixed bag of experiences. While I'm always happy to work alongside whoever you'd like to book, the problem is similar to videographers: put me next to someone with a different approach and it's just not going to translate to a good experience for you on the day. The biggest thing I'd love for you to consider is how I shoot versus how a content creator might shoot. In order to give you that chilled portrait session and make you feel relaxed in front of the camera, the experience is quite calm, quiet and I'm quite far back from you. That's perfectly possible for a professional camera, but a phone on a gimbal not so much. Another voice, another lens, a different way of working can all impact on that experience. You can add on content creation with me, and that's the ideal way to do it if you want content too - best of both without jeopardising that chilled experience you're wanting from me. But if you decide you'd like another content creator, here are some I've worked with who are really good at working alongside me and have a matching approach.

Florists
Great florals are about so much more than beautiful flowers. The florists I recommend are the ones who truly listen to what you want, offer helpful and creative suggestions, and on the day deliver arrangements that are perfectly put together and last from morning to last dance. Their attention to detail is second to none.

Cakes
Much like a great florist, a great cake maker listens first and creates second. The bakers on this list are creative, talented and make genuinely delicious cakes, but more than that they'll guide you to what you actually need and make the whole process easy and enjoyable.

DJ's/Bands
Nothing kills an evening quicker than a bad DJ. It is so much more than a Spotify playlist. Reading a room, building energy, knowing exactly when to bring it up or pull it back - that takes real skill. If you want that dance floor packed and the party going all night, you need one of these.

Confetti
Always check with your venue first, but if they allow it, do it. Not all confetti is made equal and the brands and suppliers I recommend are absolutely worth the splurge. The difference between a good confetti moment and a great one really does come down to the quality.

Hair Stylists
You want someone who creates a beautiful result that lasts all day, but you also want someone who brings the right energy to your wedding morning. The hairdressers I recommend are supportive, kind and genuinely lovely to have around while you're getting ready. Happy, calm, skilled - exactly what the morning calls for.

Make Up Artists
Similar to hair, your make-up artist sets the tone for your whole morning. The MUAs I recommend are talented at tailoring their work to each individual person in the room, making everyone feel genuinely beautiful rather than uniform, and their work lasts. All day, every dance move, every happy tear.

Live musicians/singers
I could talk about live music endlessly. The atmosphere a great singer or musician creates on a wedding day is something no playlist can replicate, and we are genuinely so lucky to have some extraordinarily talented people working in the wedding industry. The artists on this list are some of my absolute favourites and I never tire of hearing them.

Stylists & Decor
You know that vision that's living in your head right now? You need someone who can help bring it to life. A good stylist listens to what you want, helps you make it possible within your budget and has an almost magical ability to understand what's inside your head and translate it into reality on the day. Never underestimate the value of a brilliant wedding stylist.

Entertainment
Giving your guests something to be entertained with creates a brilliant atmosphere and, from a photography point of view, it is absolute gold. Happy, laughing guests celebrating a hole in one or losing their minds at a magic trick? That is the key to a brilliant candid section in your gallery. If you want natural, joyful photos of all the people you love, entertainment is one of the best ways to make that happen.

Celebrants
When a registrar isn't for you, I cannot recommend celebrants enough. A celebrant ceremony is whatever you want it to be - no rigid rules, no guidelines to follow, just a completely unique ceremony that reflects exactly who you are as a couple. If you want your wedding to feel truly, deeply yours from the very first moment, this is how you do it.
