We know better than anyone how important it is to be on the same page & working together on a wedding day and that is why we have decided to collaborate to give the very best experience to all of our couples.
Choosing us both as professionals in our own fields but work together effortlessly gives you the very best photos & videos. Having worked together since 2021, Carl and I bring complementary skills, offering you a dynamic duo experience with those very same chilled vibes throughout the day that attracted you to me in the first place.
By booking us as a package, you’re guaranteed the expertise of two dedicated individuals without managing separate suppliers. With one main contact (but of course we’re both happy to chat to you any time you need!), one meeting, and one cohesive team, we promise to craft the most timeless memories of your special day
Why it matters who you book alongside me
One of the biggest reasons couples book me is the way I work on the day. I'm quick, I'm efficient, and I never lose sight of the most important thing: you actually getting to enjoy your wedding. It's not a photo shoot. You're there to get married, to soak up every moment with the people you love, and to be fully present in a day that goes by far too fast. Everything about how I work is built around that, from keeping group photos short and sweet to capturing the day as it naturally unfolds rather than stopping it to set things up.
The thing is, not every videographer works that way, and that's where it can make a huge difference. If your videographer needs to take you away from your guests for longer, or needs more posed and directed shots than I would ever ask of you, those benefits you booked me for can quickly disappear. Suddenly your couple portraits take twice as long, your drinks reception flies by without you, and the relaxed day you pictured feels a lot more like a production.
That's exactly why I recommend Carl and offer a joint package with him. He doesn't just understand how I work and my approach, he genuinely agrees with it. We have a really great working relationship, and that can't be understated on a wedding day. When things don't quite go to plan and we need to prioritise, that relationship really comes into its own. We can work together quickly to get what we both need without it ever costing you time away from your day, and that's exactly who you want on your side.
That's not to say Carl is the only videographer I work with. I've worked alongside so many brilliant ones, and I'm always happy to send over my recommendations if you'd like a few to look into. But a joint package just works on so many levels, both for us as suppliers and for you as our couple. Having Sophie and Carl capture our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Their partnership and the way they work together truly cannot be understated. They are such a brilliant team, especially with how familiar they are with Baddow Park House and the way weddings run there.
Sophie and Carl guided us through every part of the day so seamlessly that we genuinely never had to think about logistics once. They somehow managed to make sure we spent plenty of time with our guests whilst also protecting precious moments for just the two of us together. Another thing we absolutely loved was how efficiently everything was done. We had a lot of group shots to get through with large numbers of people, but Sophie organised everything so brilliantly that we were completely finished with formal photos in around 10 minutes. We never felt like we were standing around for ages taking pictures and instead got to fully enjoy the day with our guests.
Beyond their professionalism and talent, they brought such a wholesome, warm and positive energy to the day. We felt completely comfortable being ourselves around them (even in front of the cameras) and that made such a huge difference.
And then somehow, incredibly, we woke up the very next morning not only as husband and wife, but already with a beautiful selection of preview photos from Sophie and an amazing highlight video reel from Carl. All delivered in less than 24 hours. We honestly couldn’t believe it and it was the perfect way to relive the day before we’d even gotten out of bed!
The output from both of them was absolutely perfect. The photos and video were beautiful, warm and so true to the feeling and detail of the day. Romantic and classy whilst still full of humour, personality and good vibes, a genuine reflection of how the day felt to us and everyone there.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better duo to capture our wedding day. Thank you Sophie and Carl 🫶🏻
